I love barn owls! Join me for a painting session where we will get creative with our favorite colors to create this fun painting.

Yes, you can create this work of art with any colors you want! Make this work of art reflect your personal taste in color. The painting could take 2+ hours depending on how much time you would like to spend creating layers of vibrant color. To create the texture of the owl, be sure to have plenty of white paint. 

I planned this project to encourage students to make their own color choices and have fun with self-expression. At the end of the course, students will have gained the following knowledge:

Planning a composition by making color choices and drawing before painting. 
That they can create a beautiful painting, proudly share their work and discuss their creative process.
