Do you have an idea for an acrylic painting and do not know where to begin? In the Artist Workshop we explore your ideas, learn how to use a variety of techniques and tools to bring your art to life.

Would you wear ballet slippers to play soccer? Do you expect to play the piano by just sitting at one? Just like music and sports, art requires practice along with the right tools. Often, students of art think, “I should just be able to create what is in my head – because it’s there.” I wish it were that easy!

Together we will explore your ideas, learn how to use a variety of techniques and tools to bring your art to life. This studio time is also a wonderful way to enhance your experience with my other classes. Students often want to continue refining their paintings or creating another version with additional support.
