Springtime on the River

I created this painting to empower budding artists with basic techniques to complete a beautiful work of art. I’ve had the pleasure of teaching this painting to over 500 people of all ages.

My favorite part of teaching this painting is watching students realize that they can create a painting and proudly share their success with others. I strive to have time and space for each artist to watch my live demonstration, ask questions and for them to explore and ask me for direction and feedback.

At the end of the course, students will have gained the following knowledge:
Proper use and care of acrylic paints and tools, horizon Line, vanishing point, perspective and talking about your art.
